Presentation and Poster Instructions

Oral Presentation

All speakers should submit their PowerPoint presentation files and check their presentations for computer compatibility at the Prepare Room (R 602, 6F) at least 2 hours before their scheduled presentation time. After check, presentation files will be forward directly to the conference room.

Speakers who want to use their own laptop computer should bring their own laptop and connect it to our system during a break time prior to the session scheduled their presentation.

(This is the way we can be sure that you are present, and that you are aware of any last-minute instructions or changes concerning your session.)

Presentation Time

  • Plenary lecture will be 40 minutes.
  • Invited speech will be 25 minutes including time for questions.
  • Regular oral presentation will be 15 minutes including time for questions.

 

Poster Presentation

Poster Competition Rules

  1. The poster should include, but not limited to, the following contents:
    • Title
    • Names of author(s) and affiliated organization(s)
    • Background Information
    • Brief objectives
    • Materials and methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
  2. The poster size (vertical) should be no larger than A0 size (118.9 cm (height) × 84.1 cm (width).
  3. Each poster will be provided with a number (i.e. initials of scientific topic + number) as indicated in the Scientific Program on the 16th APCCC website. For example, “AM-01” represents the first poster paper in the scientific topic of “Advanced Materials”.
  4. The poster session will be held at room A202 (2nd floor). All poster presenters are requested to be present in front of their posters during the poster competition session (15:15 ~ 16:30 on October 22, 2012).
  5. Presenters are requested to set up their posters before 12:30 p.m. on October 22, 2012, and to remove them after 12:00 p.m. on October 24, 2012. Any posters remaining after October 24 will be removed by the organizers, who accept no responsibility for loss or damage.
